Despite the overt Britishness of the video attached herein, this small-run cassette release from contemporary UK producers MOBB LORDS is indiscernibly inauthentic (ie convincing, for the double-negative illiterate) in its hard-hitting delivery of vintage sounding "golden era" '90 Memphis trunk rattlers.
Largely instrumental with occasional/unintelligible lyrics laid over smoked-out synths and bottomless bass lines, "6Deep.Vol2" is a blissful sack of lo-fi/low-key, kitchen-cooked codeine bangers.
Nine tracks of proto-trap hypnosis executed with effective simplicity and an overarching emotional numbness.
