PURE HEAT. First-time vinyl release of this feverishly spirited late-'70s club show.
One edition has a neon green'ish/yellow "radiation man" on the cover. Another has an orange one. The copies I got have no color at all, just black ink screen-printed on the white jacket, whatever that means for your collector assessment (presumably 3rd edition?). Ultimately, who cares. Buy this for what it really is -- an inspirational and refreshingly timeless document of Old World concert music from late great Columbus legend Jim Shepard (Vertical Slit, V3, Ego Summit).
Mildly "psychedelic," subtly "experimental," pragmatically "art rock" (for tax purposes), but honestly, it's useless to call this group on this night in this form of musical boiling-over anything at all other than a force of fucking nature...
